KLCC post office is a small post office located in the Petronas Twin Towers.

For realisation of a perfect maximum card, the postmark showing the place of cancellation has to be matching with the subjects on the stamp/postcard.

Naturally, for the subject on Petronas Twin Towers, the nearest post office is KLCC.

Hence, without fail, maximaphilists will flock to the little post office at KLCC to have their MCs stamped whenever the subject concerned is Petronas Twin Towers. Without the need to get hold of the postmark stamping of the small postoffice at KLCC, I would NOT have bothered even to pay the post office a visit.

Petronas Twin Towers has been a favourite subject on Malaysian stamps. It has appeared on the stamps for several times during the recent years. Stamp collectors are beginning to complain on the frequency of Petronas Twin Towers appearing on stamp.

Creation of a maxicard/maximum card on the subject of Petronas Twin Tower 双子塔极限片的制作

Postcards on the subject of Petronas Twin Towers are readily available in the market, therefore, to create a maximum card on the subject is NOT difficult. There had been several stamps featuring Petronas Twin Towers issued in the past, hence, the subject can be easily captured on a Maximum card / maxicard utilising the readily available postcards.

Many versions of the postcards are available, I am yet to make a total count of the different cards available so far. So long there are new cards made available in the market, I will buy them , collect them and turn them into Maximum Cards whenever there are new stamps issued.

2007 Aga Khan Award for Architecture ceremony held at KLCC Convention Centre on 4.9.2007. This is the first time Malaysia is organising the award ceremony. The Petronas Twin Tower was awarded with the Aga Khan outstanding architecture award in the year 2004. To mark the event, a set of stamp featuring the KLCC tower was issued which was fully SOLD OUT in the morning of the day of release on 4.9.2007. A Maximum Card was created showing the Petronas Twin Tower.
